We ensure that our vendors follow highest order of quality practices from sourcing to packing. We are non-believers in vendor selection and development purely based on customer reviews. We don’t introduce vendors or products which have not passed our quality tests.
In strict contrast to many other industries, our fashion vendors require innumerable inputs from across a wide spectrum of raw material suppliers and service providers. Our industry is characterized with ever changing input variables. In order to keep pace with changing trends and be a front runner in serving customers with the latest, our vendors confront a situation of constantly shifting raw material supplier base. Further the suppliers are mostly small and unorganized. These factors make sourcing task painful for them. Specifically, in case of apparel vendors, given their dependence on suppliers, they have to regularly deal with problems like color bleeding, bobbling, pilling, unwanted blends, weaving defects, stitching quality, sizing, et al. However, with experience we now have a team that can pre-empt such issues and keeps a check on products offered by our vendor force at regular intervals. Our QC executives personally visit various vendors to keep a close vigil. And it shows in our products.
We mostly prefer direct manufacturers or brand owners to join us. However ever-growing demand sometimes compels many of our apparel vendors to outsource some processes like stitching, finishing and packing. It takes them lot of effort to orient different teams of service providers to ensure uniformity of quality parameters. Over years through a process of selection and elimination they develop a team of dependable service providers. Nonetheless, it is a continuous process. We have quality assurance personnel who go to the extent of conducting due diligence on these service suppliers to our vendors to firstly understand the vendor health as well as to ensure that whatever the vendors pack confirms to highest quality standards.
Besides the processes we also deliberate with our vendors to ensure that prices at which you buy our products justify quality of material, concept, embellishments and making. So, we offer worth for money.
For other products like jewelry, footwear et al, which are also traded by our vendors, our QC executives, work with them to help them develop their own QC processes to ensure that they procure their products from authentic sources and have regular review systems.
In short, we work very intimately with our vendors.
But that is just product and process quality. We believe that quality should exude pan organization. Which means that it must completely take care of excelling in customer satisfaction. And if that be so, product itself is only a small part. Quality has to be ensured while pricing the products, offering discounts, designing, displaying, selling and post sale service.
