Atvenco: Privacy policy

Privacy Policy

The privacy policy is about how atvenco.com collects and uses the personal information you provide on our Web site. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. We understand that your personal or other private information is sensitive and we are committed to protecting it. We do not sell, share or rent your personal information to third parties. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

1. What is included in the collected information and how is it used?

Atvenco collects basic information required to service your requests, including your name, mailing address, email and phone number. Largely it includes basic information about you and may vary from time to time depending on legal or other requirements.

When you browse our website, we also use “cookies” or bits of tracking data to gather information about your preferences. This includes your internet service provider’s address and your clicks and activity on our website. We do not trace this information to individual customers and will never use cookies to save confidential information such as passwords or credit/debit card information.

This information is gathered when you purchase products/gift certificates, or sign up for email notifications or interact with our website in other possible ways. Your card information is requested only when you place an order and is submitted via the highest level of encryption to ensure the greatest amount of safety and security.

Collected information is used for processing of orders, shipping and customer service. It is used to update you about the status of your order or reply to your clarifications. Another important area where we use your browsing information is to improve our products and services, website structure/contents and navigation. Other than these areas, the information has no commercial usage.

2. How do we secure your data?

We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. When we collect data through the Site, we collect your personal details on a secure server. We use firewalls on our servers. When we collect payment card details electronically, we use encryption by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) coding. Whilst we are unable to guarantee 100% security, this makes it hard for a hacker to decrypt your details. You are strongly recommended not to send full credit or debit card details in unencrypted electronic communications with us. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of your information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. You are responsible for protecting against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.
